Sad thing is that this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race could have been remembered for an amazing dialogue on race and racism within the LGBT and drag communities but instead the title of Next Drag Superstar is set to be won by someone who is at best racially insensitive and at worst racist. And what makes it worse is the producers’ edit this season paints The Vixen, whose entire career has been built around social and racial advocacy, as the angry black man she PREDICTED being painted as, while Eureka, who deliberately tried to get under her skin, walks away HERALDED as sweet, innocent, and a victim.
